This “Yoga Retreat” is created for anyone practicing Yoga, from beginner to advanced. It is also for the spiritual seeker– if you are either just beginning the inner journey of self discovery or if you have long been on the path and would like to deepen your connection to the infinite self within.
The 21-day itinerary focuses on supporting a continual opening into self-awareness and discovery. There will be daily yoga practice with instruction, meditation and spiritual guidance with personal support towards achieving the unity of your mind, body and spirit. Some of the day’s events will include visiting sacred sights and powerfully energetic “hot spots” or receiving darshan (blessings) from revered Swami’s and known Saints. The pace of the retreat is full yet relaxed; a beautiful balance of time for inner reflection, self-inquiry, deepening your meditation practice, connecting to the silent self behind the mind, exploring, fun, adventure and of course YOGA!
Yoga Retreat Location: Arunachala, India
Upon your arrival in Chennai you will be picked up and taken to Tiruvannamalai, home of Sri Ramana Maharshi Ashram and the Holy Hill Arunachala. This is where mountainside cave meditations, puja ceremonies, Tamil chanting, satsangs and blessings are part of the everyday experience.
